Dear fellow traders,
Welcome to TheMarketSensor.com!
My name is Xian Rong Su. I am an independent fund manager and stock market sensor(www.StockMarketSensor.com).
Over the years, through my trading practices and the observation of the stock market, I have developed a quantitative method for gauging stock market sentiment. The results is shown by sentiment status(e.g. % of bullish/bearish) which is derived from computing various market activities and several sensitive market dates, such as NYSE/NASDAQ short interest, CBOE put/call ratios, CBOE Volatility Index(VIX), insiders buying/selling, etc.
It is a reliable trade planning tools for me and give me the trading edge to play in the stock market. I always combine it with my other favorite trading tools to plan my trading. For example, if sentiment status show bullish sentiment reaches 80% or above(strong bullish), it single me that the market is going to pull back soon, I have to take profit from long position and prepare to go short trade, and vice versa.
Now, I'm glad to build this site and share the market sentiment status with fellow traders. It is gauged at each Saturday morning and is posted on this website as soon as it is available. So, Please Check Back Often For Updates And Don't Plan Stock Trading Without Knowing Stock Market Sentiment Status At www.TheMarketSensor.com! I'm confident that you will find this information is useful and you can corporate it with your favorite trading tools and strategy to achieve your trading goal.
One important thing I would like to let you know that I am not a registered investment advisor. All contents of my website are provided for information or education purposes only. YOU SHOULD NOT MAKE ANY TRADING DECISION SOLELY BASE ON MY OPINION OR MY STOCK MARKET SENTIMENT STATUS.
Trading in stocks have potential rewards, as well as large potential RISKS and may not be suitable for all individuals. If you are not a "DO-IT-YOURSELF" trader, you must consult you investment advisor or other financial professional to determine your psychological and financial suitability. In fact, there is no guarantee one can success in the market even though he/she had professional knowledge and skills. You should be aware of the RISKS inherent in the stock market before you jump in.
Finally, if you are a beginning trader and you intend to “do-it- yourself”, in my opinion, you should invest in your trading education first. Simply Put, you must acquire a knowledge of stock market, you must master a variety of trading tools, you must develop sound professional MINDSET(i.e. trading psychology), and you must learn how to control your emotions when you manage risk capitals.
Thank you and have a wonderful online time!
